Job summary

SoftwareOne Amsterdam is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (Citrix) to drive sales success by scoping, designing, and quoting complex opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor to sales teams and clients while strengthening relationships with strategic vendors.

You will optimise pricing, maintain certifications, and identify cross‑ and upsell potential, supporting the global Microsoft channel and partner ecosystem in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of the ISV landscape and ability to position relevant solutions
• Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into solutions
• Proven ability to identify opportunities, handle objections, and support deal closures
• Clear and persuasive communication, able to explain complex concepts
• Solid knowledge of sales processes from lead to deal closure
• Well‑organised, able to plan and allocate resources effectively
• Proactive and committed to staying updated with industry trends

Responsibilities

• Quoting for Focus/Strategic Vendors & Complex Requests: own end‑to‑end quoting for complex deals and renewals
• Scoping and sizing opportunities with sales and pre‑sales teams
• Solution design and proposal/quote development with a focus on value and cross/upsell
• Local relationship management with focus/strategic/vendors and vendor governance
• Define and optimise margins with pricing strategies, rebates and market insights
• Leverage Citrix knowledge to drive vendor strategy and continuous knowledge development
