Change Manager (CR/4012629) Amsterdam, Netherlands

Change Manager

Contract: 40 hours per week

Duration: 6 months (potential to extend to 12-18 months)

The Change Manager will support our client’s Finance-wide Operating Model Transformation, aimed at transforming the organization for long-term success. The role involves working within the existing Finance change management team, reporting to the Senior Change Manager. The focus is on providing change support for high-impact operating model, technology, process, and mindset changes across multiple Finance departments, enabling leadership to lead change effectively. Responsibilities include understanding and managing impacts related to operating models, business processes, culture, behaviors, skills, and new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing change impacts to identify high-level impacts by audience.
• Defining and executing change plans aligned with business objectives.
• Ensuring continuous alignment with Central Implementation planning.
• Collaborating with Learning & Development to identify relevant training resources.
• Providing input to Department Communications to define communication plans.
• Driving execution of engagement activities to launch new organizational structures and ways of working.
• Defining change adoption focus areas based on leadership and employee feedback.

Knowledge and Skills:

• 8-10 years of experience as a dedicated change manager.
• Experience in executing large-scale and complex change programs, especially related to operating models and within Finance.
• Expertise in change management industry best practices, frameworks, and strategies.
• Strong influencing skills, with the ability to partner with leadership and senior management.
• Effective team player with proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and constantly changing environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts.
