Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Geleen, The Netherlands, is seeking a Biotech Associate to perform GMP-based cell culture and manufacturing activities.

You will execute media preparation, cell expansion and harvesting within a cleanroom, while maintaining strict aseptic practices and accurate documentation. The role requires completing laboratory training or a bachelor's degree in biotechnology, with added value from 2 years in GMP cleanrooms.

Qualifications

Completed laboratory training or a bachelor's degree in biotechnology or a related field.
Ideally 2 years of experience in a GMP cleanroom environment.
Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Perform cell and tissue culture activities according to GMP procedures.
Execute manufacturing steps such as media preparation, cell expansion and harvesting.
Work in a cleanroom environment following aseptic techniques.
Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
Identify and report deviations to help ensure compliance and product quality.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing team.
Collaborate with QA, QC and MSAT teams to support efficient manufacturing operations.
