Job summary

Lonza in Geleen, Netherlands, is hiring a Biotech Associate to contribute to the manufacturing of cell therapy products in a GMP cleanroom environment. This hands-on role requires precision, teamwork and a strong quality mindset to help bring life-changing therapies to patients.

You will perform cell culture activities, execute manufacturing steps, document activities, report deviations and collaborate with QA/QC and MSAT teams.

Qualifications

• Completed lab training or bachelor’s in biotech or related field.
• Ideally 2 years GMP cleanroom experience.
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a structured manner.
• Good English communication, written and verbal.
• Willingness to work shifts including evenings and weekends; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform cell and tissue culture according to GMP procedures.
• Execute manufacturing steps such as media preparation, cell expansion and harvesting.
• Work in a cleanroom following aseptic techniques.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
• Identify and report deviations to ensure compliance and quality.
• Support continuous improvement within the manufacturing team.
• Collaborate with QA, QC and MSAT teams to support efficient operations.
