Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden seeks an ambitious Scientific Manager Cell and Gene Therapy Analytics to lead a 22-person team in CGTA Leiden. You will develop and validate methods for viral vectors using LC, CE and light scattering, collaborating across process development, quality, and regulatory affairs.

Qualifications

• PhD in analytical chemistry or related life sciences with post-doctoral experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 22-person team developing biophysical and separation-based methods.
• Act as analytical lead to strengthen product development strategy for viral vectors.
• Share expertise in LC, light scattering, and CE; drive method selection and validation.
• Oversee lifecycle management from development to method validation for release and characterization.
• Collaborate across multiple teams including process development, quality, and regulatory.
