Do-IT-Organic in Barneveld is seeking a Category Manager to oversee a product category within the organic food chain. This role demands expertise in international trade, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to drive category results. We are not looking for a standard buyer, but for someone who truly understands the landscape of international trade in food ingredients. Someone who knows how prices move, how to position suppliers, and how to continuously balance commercial opportunities and risk.

In this role, you are fully responsible for your own product category. You set the direction, build relationships and drive results.
In practice, you will:
You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Sales, Quality and Finance and have direct influence on what we buy and sell.
You will work with one or more categories within our organic assortment, such as nuts, seeds, grains, rice and other food ingredients. As we source globally, speed and timing are key in this role.
You will join us at a time of growth and expansion, with plenty of room to build and shape your category. This means you won’t just have responsibility, you’ll have real influence on results and direction.
