Job summary

Chapman Freeborn is seeking a Cargo Capacity Manager to join the team in Amsterdam, Netherlands (the). You will provide prompt aviation logistical services to clients and promote commercial opportunities within the group.

The role involves monitoring requests, updating booking systems, coordinating ground handling, and maintaining relationships with customers while targeting new sales opportunities in the Benelux market. Shift work including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cargo capacity, logistics and air freight.
• Target-driven with aviation industry interest.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and action supplier and client requests.
• Follow company operating systems and procedures.
• Update databases with new projects and information.
• Manage and reconcile projects to closure.
• Check airline schedules and live flight tracking.
• Oversee ground handling and trucking coordination.
• Obtain required documents (AWBs, Security and DGR sheets).
• Invoice approval and preparation of outgoing invoices.
• Develop sales opportunities and maintain client relationships.
• Sourcing new opportunities through cold-calling and emails.
