Job summary

Medtronic in the Netherlands is seeking an Account Manager for Cardiac Surgery to drive sales growth across The Netherlands, reporting to the Benelux Sales Manager. You will represent a market-leading portfolio and collaborate with cardiac surgeons and operating room teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Life Sciences or related field, with 5+ years in medical device sales, and fluent Dutch and English.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
Min 5 years of success in medical device sales, preferably within cardiovascular, surgical, or hospital-based specialties.
Fluency in both Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth and market share across the assigned territory in The Netherlands
Develop and maintain strong relationships with cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, procurement teams, and other healthcare professionals
Promote and support Medtronic’s portfolio of cardiac surgery solutions, including products addressing heart valve disease, atrial fibrillation, and coronary artery disease
Provide clinical and technical support during procedures and product evaluations
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic account plans
Deliver product presentations, educational programs, and training sessions for healthcare professionals
Collaborate closely with marketing, clinical specialists, and cross-functional teams to ensure customer success
Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive activities, and customer needs
Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards
