University College Roosevelt in Middelburg, the Netherlands, seeks a Cleaner/Schoonmaakmedewerker to join 1.5 FTE across three staff members. The role requires independence, responsibility, and a proactive approach to ensure a clean and pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors.

You will clean educational, office, and general-use areas, maintain sanitary facilities, and coordinate activities with the facilities department.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and take responsibility.
• Practical mindset and proactive approach to tasks.
• Careful, reliable, and thorough in daily duties.
• Flexible regarding working hours and shifts.
• Able to communicate in Dutch and/or English at a basic level (B1).

Responsabilités

• Keep educational, office, and general-use areas clean and well-maintained.
• Clean and inspect sanitary facilities and restrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, stairwells, and other shared spaces.
• Identify irregularities or defects and report needs for attention.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as required and coordinate with facilities.
• Work with the facilities department to ensure smooth operations.
