Job summary

Damen Naval in the Netherlands is seeking a Functional Application Specialist to support the Cadmatic Hull platform across the product lifecycle. You will translate engineering needs into functional specs, analyze issues, and implement application processes to improve efficiency.

You will also train users, manage interfaces, and maintain data setup while coordinating with the Manager Engineering Support. Willingness to work from Vlissingen and Schiedam is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or proven competence in engineering, preferably shipbuilding.
• Proficiency with Cadmatic platform.
• English fluency; Dutch is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering business needs into functional specifications for application developments.
• Analyze issues with stakeholders and propose solutions.
• Develop and implement application processes and functionalities.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners.
• Manage interfaces between applications and Cadmatic Hull.
• Maintain user access rights administration within the application.
• Setup and configure project environments within Cadmatic Hull.
• Manage catalogs, libraries, specifications, and related data setup.
• Organize application-related training in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support.
• Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users for Cadmatic Hull.
• Prepare and develop Cadmatic training materials, tips, docs, and user manuals.
