TAKT Studentenuitzendbureau is assisting a maritime machine manufacturer in The Hague to find an independent CAD Engineer. The role focuses on advancing an offshore winch and davit from concept to complete 3D and 2D drawings.
You will work directly with the owner/design engineer and have freedom to shape the detailing, while ensuring production-ready drawings and clear handover to the workshop. The position is 1–2 days per week, partly remote with on-site work in The Hague.
For a maritime machine manufacturer in The Hague we are looking for an independent CAD Engineer to further develop an existing 3D concept of an offshore winch and davit into complete 3D and 2D construction drawings. The main calculations and concept have already been worked out; your role starts with the further technical detailing towards production.
You will work directly with the owner/design engineer and have a lot of freedom to shape the detailing. You are responsible for a detailed and production-oriented drawing set, signalling when information is missing or unclear before it goes to production.
You will work partly from home and partly on-site in The Hague. The exact split is flexible and agreed upon in consultation. Availability is 1–2 days per week, with the days planned together.
Market-conform salary, depending on work experience and education level. The final rate is determined in consultation. University of applied sciences (HBO) or university (WO) student in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical degree, Able to work independently from concept to complete 3D/2D detailing, Experience with CAD software, preferably Onshape, Affinity with heavy machinery and/or maritime sector is a plus, Accurate and detail-oriented, Strong communication skills for coordination with the design engineer, Available 1–2 days per week, partly on-site in The Hague
