Job summary

Allseas is seeking a CAD Engineer in Pipeline Engineering to support concept through offshore execution, translating ideas into accurate 3D models and drawings.

You will collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality deliverables and help improve design workflows. The role requires an MBO in Mechanical Engineering, at least two years CAD experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor, plus Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable technical discipline.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a CAD engineering role.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Preferably experience in offshore, construction, energy or oil & gas industries.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for offshore structures and project-related designs.
• Produce high-quality engineering deliverables according to project specs and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and CAD Engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Identify technical challenges and discuss design improvements during the process.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design methods and standards.

Job description

As a CAD Engineer within Pipeline Engineering, you support engineering activities throughout all project phases, from concept development and detailed design to fabrication and offshore execution. Working in a multidisciplinary team, you transform engineering concepts into accurate 3D models and technical drawings that help bring complex offshore projects to life.

What are the responsabilities of a CAD Engineer Pipeline?

• Creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings for offshore structures, installation equipment, procedures and project-related designs.
• Producing high-quality engineering deliverables in accordance with project specifications, standards and company procedures.
• Collaborating with engineers and fellow CAD Engineers to develop practical and efficient technical solutions.
• Identifying and discussing technical challenges and design improvements during the engineering process.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of design methods, workflows and engineering standards within the department.

What we expect from you

You are a detail-oriented CAD professional who enjoys working on technically challenging projects and translating engineering concepts into clear, practical designs.

In addition, you have:

• An MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a CAD engineering role.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Preferably experience within the offshore, construction, energy or oil & gas industries.
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
