ALTEN is seeking a talented C++ Software Engineer to join our Utrecht team and contribute to high-tech client projects across industries. You will develop and maintain software using C++, analyze requirements, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders.

The role offers a hybrid working model with a pension scheme, generous vacation days, and a monthly net expense allowance. Fluency in English is required, and the ideal candidate holds a HBO/WO degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Requires HBO/WO degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• At least 3 years of professional C++ software development experience
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
• Experience with C++ development tools, compilers and debuggers
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining software applications using C++
• Implementing technical requirements into clean, reliable, and maintainable code
• Analyzing and solving software issues and bugs
• Writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure software quality
• Participating in code reviews and following established development standards
• Working with engineers and stakeholders within project teams
