Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking an Ecosystem & Ventures (E&V) Business Operations Lead to strengthen global programs and operations across the EMEA region.

You will drive AI enablement, community of practice, employee engagement, and budget governance while coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver scalable processes and measurable impact for a distributed workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business/related field.
• 2–5+ years in business operations, program management, or people-facing roles, ideally in tech.
• Genuine interest in AI tools with ability to translate tech to adoption.
• Experience planning engagement events for distributed teams.
• Strong organization and follow-through on recurring obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal E&V Community of Practice (CoP) activities.
• Plan and curate CoP content and sessions.
• Own AI enablement journey, identify tools and use cases.

Ecosystem & Ventures (E&V) — Business Operations Lead

Location: Office-Based / Home-Based / Hybrid, preferably in EMEA

Position Summary

The E&V team delivers the Bentley Partner Program (supporting a diverse and vibrant ecosystem of digital solutions required to support our users' needs), makes investments, and facilitates acquisitions through the Ventures team, all as supported by a robust Shared Services organization.

Responsibilities:

Community of Practice & AI Enablement

• Lead and facilitate the internal E&V Community of Practice (CoP), driving cross-functional knowledge sharing, discussion, and synergy across the team.


• Plan and curate CoP content and sessions that keep the community active, relevant, and valuable to members.


• Own and drive the team's AI enablement journey, identifying tools, training, and use cases that help colleagues adopt AI effectively in their day-to-day work.


• Track adoption and gather feedback on AI enablement initiatives, iterating on the approach based on what's working.


• Act as a go-to resource and champion for AI-related questions, resources, and best practices within the team.

Employee Engagement

• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, including team events, remote/virtual sessions, and recognition programs.


• Coordinate individual celebrations (work anniversaries, milestones) to foster a positive, connected team culture.


• Develop engagement content and communications that keep a globally distributed team feeling included and informed.


• Gather and analyze engagement feedback to continuously improve participation.

Employee Obligation & Operational Tracking

• Lead employee obligation fulfillment, including tracking and follow-up on mandatory compliance training completion, and follow up on submission deadlines for operational obligations.


• Serve as the point of contact for questions related to these operational obligations.

Budget & Team Resources

• Maintain an overview of the team budget, tracking spend against plan and flagging variances.


• Support budget-related reporting and provide visibility to leadership on spend across engagement, swag, operational, and AI initiatives.


• Manage team swag — sourcing, ordering, inventory, and distribution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Communications, HR, or a related field, or equivalent experience.


• 2–5+ years of experience in business operations, program management, employee engagement, or a related people-facing role, ideally within the Tech Industry.


• Genuine interest in AI tools and enablement, with the ability to translate new technology into practical adoption for a team.


• Experience planning and running engagement events or programs for a distributed/remote team.


• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to track and follow through on recurring operational obligations (compliance, expenses, time‑off) without things falling through the cracks.


• Comfort managing a budget and reporting on spend, with good attention to detail and accuracy.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create content and messaging that resonates across a global team.


• Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives and stakeholders at once.


• Proactive and resourceful, with a genuine enthusiasm for building community and culture.


• Advanced proficiency with standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
