Business Development Manager Projects (Rotterdam)
In this role, you will drive international business growth, increase market share and achieve defined commercial objectives by identifying new opportunities, strengthening strategic partnerships and promoting Radio Holland’s full portfolio of products, services and systems.
You will join the Special Segments and Projects Department, working with Sales Engineers and Business Development Managers across the yachting, dredging, deep‑sea, fishery, inland, offshore and naval markets. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Projects, Service and the warehouse, and report to Head of Business Development Specials. The scope of the role is international and the position is based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

What You Will Do
You will:
- Analyse the market, competitor behaviour and OEM interests, and contribute to propositions that respond to market opportunities and customer needs.
- Act as an ambassador in the market, build and maintain relationships, grow revenue and promote Radio Holland’s full portfolio of products, services and systems.
- Research and evaluate opportunities that support the development of new business and strategic partnerships.
- Maintain customer relationships during project execution in close cooperation with the project manager.
- Manage and report on the sales funnel, including commercial progress with customers and prospects.
- Coordinate with Business Development Managers in other segments or regions and with the Deepsea department on Trade and Service enquiries, while supporting the collection of accounts receivable.
- Work within defined negotiation and pricing guidelines and coach Project Sales Engineers in preparing commercially sound offers.

What You Bring
Required
- Experience developing business and sales strategies.
- Strong technical knowledge and an understanding of the relevant technologies within the products and solutions offered to customers.
- Experience managing and negotiating high‐value technical projects, contracts and associated terms and conditions.
- Commercial leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders and coach Project Sales Engineers in preparing offers.
- Fluent in Dutch, verbally and in writing.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management or a related field.
Preferred
- Expert product, service and system‑level knowledge of NavCom solutions.
- Project, service and system‑level knowledge of other marine systems.
- Experience working internationally across one or more maritime segments such as yachting, dredging, deep‑sea, fishery, inland, offshore or naval.
