Job summary

ATG Europe in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, seeks a Business Controller for part-time or full-time engagement (min. 32 hours/week). Employed by ATG Europe, the candidate will support the CFO, manage accounting operations and financial reporting, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

The role demands hands-on accounting, data analytics, and strong English and Dutch communication. A security screening will be conducted after selection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business economics or accountancy.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant financial work experience.
• Hands-on mentality, flexible and a team player.
• Digitally proficient with IT systems and data analytics.
• Analytical, numerical and good communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken.
• Eligible to work in the EU.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations: Billing, AR/AP, GL, cost and fixed assets, revenue recognition in visma.net.
• Coordinate budget prep, financial forecasts, and report variances to the CFO.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting preparations.
• Enter monthly revenue data in visma.net where applicable.
• Prepare timely monthly financial statements and headcount reports.
• Support month-end and year-end close.
• Ensure quality control of financial transactions and reporting.
• Assist CFO with local government reporting and tax filings.
• Improve operational and control processes; assist audits.
• Manage day-to-day cash flow and timely invoicing; monitor debtors.
