Job summary

Siemens eMobility Charging is seeking a Business Controller / Finance Manager to partner with the business, shape financial strategy, and drive performance across the organization. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on financial governance in a dynamic, international environment.

The successful candidate will lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, deliver robust analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize value creation and drive digitalized

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field with finance/controlling specialization.
• Several years of experience in accounting, controlling, FP&A, management consulting, or similar finance role.
• Experience in business partnering and advising senior stakeholders on financial decisions.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Experience in international/dynamic business environments; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead business controlling activities with accurate financial reporting, transparency and governance.
• Act as Finance Business Partner for management providing insights, business cases, scenario analyses, and strategic recommendations.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management processes.
• Analyze financial and operational performance; identify opportunities and risks and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Enhance and digitalize reporting tools, dashboards, and financial processes to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Support investment decisions, cost optimization initiatives, and business improvement programs with robust financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal/external financial standards; drive process improvements and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, Operations and other cross-functional teams.

About The Job Business Controller - Finance Manager

To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for a proactive and analytically strong Business Controller / Finance Manager who will play a key role in supporting our international organization and driving financial performance across the business.

Your Impact

As Business Controller / Finance Manager, you will act as a trusted finance partner to the business and contribute directly to strategic and operational decision-making.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead business controlling activities across the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, transparency, and financial governance.
• Act as a Finance Business Partner for management and business stakeholders, providing financial insights, business cases, scenario analyses, and strategic recommendations.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management processes to support business growth and profitability.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, identify opportunities and risks, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Further enhance and digitalize reporting tools, dashboards, and financial processes to improve efficiency, data quality, and decision-making.
• Support investment decisions, cost optimization initiatives, and business improvement programs through robust financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external financial standards, policies, and procedures while continuously driving process improvements and operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

What You Bring

• Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field, preferably with a specialization in Finance and Controlling.
• Several years of experience in accountancy, controlling, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), management consulting, or a comparable finance role.
• Strong experience in business partnering and supporting senior stakeholders with financial decision-making.
• Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
• Advanced SAP, Excel and PowerPoint skills, combined with experience working with financial reporting systems and Business Intelligence applications.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
• Experience in an international and dynamic business environment is a must.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
