Job summary

Nedstar, an Amsterdam-based international trading company, seeks a Business Controller to turn data into insight and action, supporting traders, management and the CFO with analysis, models and reports. You will drive performance reporting, planning and commercial analysis in a fast-moving environment.

Based in Amsterdam, you’ll build AI-powered reporting flows, develop scalable financial models, and partner with trading, logistics and finance teams to improve efficiency and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, business analysis or business controlling.
• Analytically sharp with strong numbers and data skills.
• Proactive, self-starting and able to translate data into clear business stories.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clear, actionable management reports and KPI analyses for CFO, management and traders.
• Provide financial questions sparring and trusted partner support to management and traders.
• Translate trading data into commercial insights: margins, deal performance, risk exposures.
