Job summary

Allego in Arnhem seeks a Business Continuity Specialist to strengthen operational resilience and embed resilience into day-to-day operations. The role emphasizes proactive resilience, with disaster recovery as part of the scope.

You will drive BCM initiatives, conduct BIAs and risk assessments, and translate risks into practical actions while collaborating with IT and business teams to improve service reliability and resilience. An on-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Experience building and improving BCM frameworks
• Strong understanding of operational resilience principles and risk management
• Experience conducting BIAs and resilience assessments
• Ability to translate risks into practical actions and measurable improvements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Analytical, structured, and proactive approach
• Fluent in English

We're looking for a Business Continuity Specialist who will strengthen operational resilience across the organization. This role is primarily focused on identifying risks, improving preparedness, and embedding resilience into day-to-day operations. While disaster recovery is part of the scope, the emphasis is on proactive resilience rather than reactive recovery.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain Allego's Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework
• Drive operational resilience initiatives across business and technology teams

• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical service disruptions when required

Job Requirements

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL
• Experience with ISO 22301 and/or ISO 27001
• Experience within technology-driven or critical infrastructure environments
