Job summary

Adams Multilingual Recruitment is recruiting for a Sr Business Controller for a rapidly growing client in the EV and charging infrastructure industry. Based in Amsterdam with a hybrid work arrangement, the role reports to the Director of FP&A.

You will analyze KPIs, build three-statement models, track opex and capex across Europe, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance in a high-growth, international environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting and 5+ years in a similar role.
• Strong communication and board-level influencing ability.
• Experience handling large, complex datasets and related tools.
• Fluency in English and another European language.
• Genuine passion for sustainability and EV transition.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Sr Business Controller for one of our rapidly growing clients within EV and charging infrastructure industry.

This role will act as a strategic partner to the Directors and Board, supporting and guiding business performance growth. It is based in Amsterdam (on a hybrid level) and reports to the Director of FP&A.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze KPIs and dashboards, highlight trends and provide expert advice that helps Business Managers hit their goals.
• Build reliable three statement financial models and scenario analyses for cash management and high-stakes investment decisions.
• Track opex and capex across Europe, benchmarking performance and aligning updated estimates with the business.
• Identify opportunities to boost financial performance and proactively optimize business processes, ensuring financial operations are lean, scalable, and ready to support a rapidly expanding network
• Work on diverse projects involving commercial propositions, marketing activities, operations, retail, product & engineering in a high-growth, international environment.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role- with solid understanding of European business practices.
• You bring a hands on, inquisitive attitude, you are a clear communicator and have the maturity to influence decision-making at the board level.
• Being comfortable working with large, complex datasets and the tools that manage them.
• Fluency in English and any other European language
• Genuine passion for sustainability and the transition to electric mobility.
