As a business analyst at ASML it is your role to collect, analyze and translate our data into business insights. You will support the generation of business insights by using a combination of cross-sector data sources and applying leading analytics tools and technologies on these sources in order to enable optimization of ASML and customer value.

Role and responsibilities

• Generate business insights by translating data into meaningful visuals, reports and dashboards and recommendations.
• Support the formulation of problem statements and perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Apply leading analytics tools and technologies to develop in-depth understanding of structured and unstructured data on the topic at hand.

Education and experience

• A technical master’s degree (or you will graduate in the upcoming months), preferably within a strong technical direction like Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Mechanical or Electrical/Industrial Engineering orEconometrics.
• Experience with data analysis methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Ability to apply modern analytical and statistical approaches to complex business problems.
• Experience with tools such as Python, Databricks, Power BI, Spotfire and/or Alteryx.
• Business sensitivity and ability to make the step from theoretical models to creating business impact

This job position is part of the Distributed Analytics Network (DAN), a network consisting of analytics entities (called Analytics Nodes) throughout the different sectors at ASML. The main objective of DAN is to create an aligned way of working across the organization and elevate ASML’s analytics capabilities to the next level.
