Job summary

Ampstek is hiring a Business Analyst for Digital Assets in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work arrangement supports collaboration with front offices, trading desks, custody operations, compliance, and engineering to translate business requirements into actionable specs and workflows.

The role focuses on onboarding, trading, settlement, asset servicing, and regulatory compliance, enabling proactive backlog prioritization and delivery across agile teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of capital markets: trade lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation.
• Experience with digital assets, cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, wallets, custody and related platforms.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC, regulation and transaction monitoring.
• Proficient in agile business analysis: user stories, backlog, acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and technical artifacts.
• Define end-to-end workflows spanning onboarding, trading, settlement, and asset servicing.
• Collaborate with front offices, trading desks, custody ops, compliance and engineering teams.
• Support Agile ceremonies – backlog grooming, sprint planning, prioritization, and demos.
• Act as Proxy Product Owner, guiding backlog prioritization and delivery outcomes.
• Develop process models, data flows, and integration requirements (APIs, platforms).
• Support UAT, release readiness, and production validation.
