Job summary

TenneT zoekt een ervaren Business Acceleration Manager om strategische prioriteiten en transformatie-initiatieven te versnellen binnen de Nederlandse tak. Je levert inzichten en aanbevelingen en werkt samen met de CEO, ExCo en senior stakeholders om decision-ready rapporten te ontwikkelen.

Qualifications

• Een Master’s degree, bijvoorbeeld in bedrijfsadministratie, techniek, wetenschap, economie, organisatiewetenschappen of een gerelateerd vakgebied.
• Ten minste 10 jaar relevante ervaring, inclusief meerdere jaren bij een topadviesbureau en/of in-house consulting, corporate strategy, transformatie of business improvement bij een grote, complexe organisatie.
• Sterke probleemoplossende en analytische vaardigheden, inclusief het kunnen structureren van ambiguïse problemen en vertalen van analyse naar concrete aanbevelingen.

Responsibilities

• Samenwerken met de Raad van Bestuur, senior leiders en belangrijke stakeholders om strategische, organisatorische en bedrijfsuitdagingen te structureren en aan te pakken.
• Zekreren van vertaling van complexe problemen naar gestructureerde analyses, hypotheses, opties, duidelijke aanbevelingen en uitvoerbare implementatieplannen.
• Leiden van strategische transformatie- en verbeteringsopdrachten van probleemdefinitie tot implementatie.
• Bevorderen van implementatie van strategie en transformatie met passende governance en risicobeheersing.

Do you want to help accelerate TenneT’s strategic priorities at the heart of the energy transition? As a Business Acceleration Manager you provide broad-based advice and recommendations on policies, standards and practices within their functional area to improve organisational performance and efficiency and support informed decision-making by delivering insights, solutions and best practices that align within the context of their functional area and the business unit(s) within their scope.

You will be a part of the Business Development & Consulting team that works closely with the Executive Board of TenneT Holding, the Executive Committee of TenneT Netherlands, senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organisation. Our work spans strategic assignments at EB/ExCo level, transformation programmes, business improvement and innovation, business development and M&A, and shareholder topics relating to TenneT’s subsidiaries and participations.

The focus for this role is on accelerating strategic priorities, transformation initiatives and business improvement topics.

You will bring structure, pace and quality to complex assignments, develop decision-ready recommendations for senior leaders, and work effectively with others to translate analysis and decisions into implementation. This is a role for someone who combines sharp analytical thinking with strong business judgement and the ability to get things done in a complex stakeholder environment. You will work on topics that are central to TenneT’s strategic goals and to one of Europe’s largest infrastructure build-out programmes. The role offers strong exposure to TenneT’s senior leadership agenda and provides a development platform for future management roles within TenneT.

As part of the Business Development & Consulting team, you will shape and deliver high-impact strategic, transformation and business improvement initiatives across TenneT Netherlands.

You will:

• Work closely with the Executive Committee, senior leaders and key stakeholders to frame and address complex strategic, organisational and business challenges.
• Translate ambiguous problems into structured analyses, hypotheses, options, clear recommendations, and actionable implementation plans.
• Lead strategy, transformation and business improvement assignments, from problem definition through to implementation.
• Drive the implementation of strategy, transformation and business improvement assignments, ensuring alignment across divisions, effective governance, risk mitigation, and the realization of targeted business outcomes and benefits.
• Develop high-quality executive decision materials, business cases, storylines and presentations.
• Facilitate workshops or working sessions and senior steering discussions with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Apply pragmatic change and engagement approaches to help drive topics from analysis through decision-making to implementation.
• Contribute to broader Business Development & Consulting priorities such as business development, M&A or participation management.

Jouw profiel & achtergrond

• A Master’s degree, for example in business administration, engineering, science, economics, organisational sciences or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, including several years at a top-tier consulting firm and/or in an in-house consulting, corporate strategy, transformation or business improvement role within a large, complex organisation. Experience in an asset-intensive, regulated sector, such as energy, utilities or infrastructure, is an advantage. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop hypotheses, build business cases and translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong storyline, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create high-quality decision materials for senior audiences.
• Experience with performance improvement, transformation, organisational change, operating model work and/or the implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Comfortable moving between shaping strategy with senior leadership and driving implementation.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively across functions, seniority levels and organisational boundaries.
• Experience in complex corporate, infrastructure, energy and/or regulated environments is considered a plus.
• Experience with business development, M&A, participation management or corporate venturing is considered a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• A permanent contract with a two-month probationary period, based on 32 - 40 hours per week.
• A salary in scale 18, including 8% holiday allowance.
• On top of the base salary 12% allowance.
• A solid pension plan via ABP: we pay 70% of your premium.
