Job summary

A leading energy solutions provider is seeking a Bulk Engineer at its Rotterdam office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project materials data, performing data analysis, and providing project support. Applicants should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in material control or procurement, strong MS Excel skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Knowledge of MS Access, SQL, Visual Basic, and Power BI is a plus. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in material control, cost engineering, project planning, procurement, or data analysis.
• Experience in an EPC project and data handling/databases is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with additional tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze project materials data.
• Release engineering data as per project schedule.
• Create data analyses and reports using various systems.
• Forecast and monitor bulk quantities in consultation with engineering.

Purpose

The Bulk Engineer is responsible for the data management, analysis and reporting of the project materials.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and expedite the release of the engineering data as per project schedule,
• Verify the data from Engineering, and take actions to amend when required,
• Process Supply Chain and Logistics data into MRP systems (Nadia/ERM),
• Create multisystem data analysis and reports,
• Issue data for procurement to the yards,
• Issue weekly Material Power BI reports and Workfront analysis,
• Provide project support.
• Forecast bulk quantities in consultation with engineering
• Monitor changes in quantities resulting from the evolution of the design

Education

• Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering discipline or a cost engineering study

Experience

• At least 3 year experience in a material control / cost engineer / Project Planning / Procurement position / Data analysis
• Experience in an EPC project and experience in data handling and databases is a pre,
• Excellent MS Excel knowledge. MS Access, SQL, Visual Basic, Power BI is a plus
• English is a mandatory.
