Job summary

A leading offshore services company located in Rotterdam is seeking a Bulk Engineer to manage and analyze project materials data. Responsibilities include handling engineering data, creating reports, and forecasting bulk quantities while collaborating with engineering teams. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering and have at least 3 years of experience in material control or related fields. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential, with familiarity in SQL and Power BI as a plus.

Role Overview

The Bulk Engineer is responsible for the data management, analysis and reporting of the project materials.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and expedite the release of the engineering data as per project schedule.
• Verify the data from Engineering, and take actions to amend when required.
• Process Supply Chain and Logistics data into MRP systems (Nadia/ERM).
• Create multisystem data analysis and reports.
• Issue data for procurement to the yards.
• Issue weekly Material Power BI reports and Workfront analysis.
• Provide project support.
• Forecast bulk quantities in consultation with engineering.
• Monitor changes in quantities resulting from the evolution of the design.

Education

• Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering discipline or cost engineering study.

Experience

• At least 3 years experience in material control / cost engineer / Project Planning / Procurement position / Data analysis.
• Experience in an EPC project with data handling and databases.
• Excellent MS Excel knowledge. MS Access, SQL, Visual Basic, Power BI is a plus.
• English is mandatory.
