Job summary

Jan Luyken Amsterdam is seeking a dedicated House Host to join our intimate, creative team in the heart of Amsterdam. You will prepare breakfast with local, fresh products and contribute ideas for a refreshed buffet, ensuring guests start their day warmly.

We value a friendly, guest-centric approach and HACCP awareness. Training is provided; weekend availability and residing near Amsterdam are preferred to support our unique hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a chef training course or at least 1 year of kitchen experience.
• Energetic, cheerful and hospitable; go the extra mile for guests.
• Proactive, a born team player.
• Flexible and available on weekends/holidays; lives near Amsterdam.
• HACCP knowledge is provided via training if needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast for guests before the city wakes up.

Job Requirements

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD BREAKFAST CHEF?

• You have completed a chef training course or at least 1 year of work experience in a kitchen.
• You are energetic, cheerful and HOSPITAL! For you, hospitality means going the extra mile. You are creative and try to surprise the guest every morning.
• You are proactive, a born team player.
• In addition, you are flexible and available on weekends and holidays, and you live in (near) Amsterdam.
• You value working in accordance with HACCP guidelines. No experience with HACCP yet? No problem. We provide the necessary training to help you quickly develop this knowledge and apply it in your role.
