Job summary

De Plesman in The Hague invites an experienced Breakfast Chef to join our brand-new kitchen. You will work under our Executive Chef, Kyan van Bommel, and the Chef de Cuisine to lead breakfast and craft a refined, memorable dining experience.

The role requires 1–2 years in a similar hotel setting, English fluency, and residence near The Hague. The 7-month contract includes team activities, hotel and F&B discounts, and a dynamic, young team environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Background in a 4/5 star hotel is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Take control of the breakfast service and ensure guests receive a delicious, memorable breakfast.
• Set up and break down the breakfast service.
• Understand daily specials, menu changes and dietary needs of guests.
• Monitor portions and waste to maintain profit margins.
• Store deliverables in an organized and timely manner.
• Monitor food safety guidelines, fire safety policies and working conditions.
