Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks a Director of Risk Management based in the Netherlands to establish and lead the risk function for a Bitcoin-focused institutional business. You will oversee market, credit, counterparty, liquidity, operational, and protocol risks across digital assets and traditional instruments.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematical Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, FRM, PRM, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain risk policies across market, credit, counterparty, liquidity, operational, and protocol risks.
• Define risk appetite, exposure limits, leverage thresholds, and governance procedures.
• Provide independent risk approval for new strategies and products.
• Develop quantitative risk models and stress testing frameworks.
• Monitor portfolio exposures daily and raise emerging risks with recommendations.
• Lead due diligence on counterparties, venues, and DeFi protocols.
• Design and implement controls across trade execution, settlement, and custody.
