Job summary
Lonza Netherlands seeks a Lead Manufacturing Team Lead to head a high-performing team responsible for 24/7 biotech manufacturing operations. This on-site role offers up to 20% remote flexibility and requires strong GMP compliance, safety, and collaborative leadership across day, evening and night shifts.
You will lead about 15 Biotech Associates per shift alongside a second Production Team Lead, drive timely documentation and continuous improvement, and partner with Quality and Manufacturing
Qualifications
- Experience leading teams within biotechnology, pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.
- GMP manufacturing processes and quality standards experience.
- Strong planning, prioritization and decision-making in fast-paced production.
- Effective communication to coach and direct teams.
- Experience with investigations, deviations, CAPAs or manufacturing documentation is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of ~15 Biotech Associates across 24/7 operations.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager and another Lead for continuity.
- Drive on-time completion of manufacturing documentation and batch closures.
- Promote GMP compliance, safety and quality.
- Coach and develop team members for engagement and growth.
- Work with QA, QC and Manufacturing Compliance to implement improvements.
