Job summary

Rijk Zwaan is seeking a Researcher Biostatistics to investigate biostatistical and genetic data analysis, develop methodologies, and collaborate to translate findings across the organization.

You will join the Biostatistics department, a diverse team focusing on statistics, genetics and data analysis in plant breeding, with opportunities to model, script, and interact across R&D units. A PhD or MSc with experience is required and English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• A background in animal or plant breeding with a strong focus on statistical genetics.
• Educational level: PhD, or MSc with relevant working experience.
• Experience with coding in R.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to discussions on experimental designs and provide expert advice.
• Analyze results from experiments such as QTL mapping and GWAS; communicate findings clearly.
