Job summary

Productivity Software in the Netherlands is seeking a BIM Modeler to develop and detail 3D models in Revit for multiple project stages. You will work closely with a BIM Engineer, coordinating with clients and colleagues to ensure accurate construction drawings and material orders.

You will also take on team tasks such as creating schedules, maintaining templates, and mentoring interns. The role blends engineering with work preparation and requires collaboration across office and client sites.

About the feature

As a BIM Modeler, you support the BIM Engineer in setting up and managing BIM models for various projects. While new construction projects are becoming increasingly common, the majority of projects focus on large-scale renovation work. On the largest projects, collaboration often takes place in pairs. As a Modeler, you will be paired with a BIM Engineer, and together you are responsible for the entire process up to and including production in the factory. To ensure good coordination and collaboration with the factory, the engineering team works partly at the office in Staphorst and partly at the client's office.

• You will get to work on developing projects in 3D in Revit.
• You create and detail 3D drawings at various stages of a project.
• You liaise regularly with your client for coordination and brainstorm with your colleagues from the construction department to make the right choices for the construction drawings.
• You combine engineering with work preparation by modeling in Revit 3D on the one hand, and discussing the assembly drawings with the client and ordering materials on the other.
• Together with the team, you are responsible for the entire Engineering department. This means that, in addition to your primary duties, you also take on team tasks such as creating schedules, identifying issues, maintaining templates, and supervising colleagues and/or interns.
