Job summary

Productivity Software Group is looking for a BIM engineer to set up and manage BIM models for new construction and large-scale renovations. You will develop projects in Revit and create detailed 3D drawings, often pairing with a BIM modeler on the largest projects.

You will serve as the main contact for the factory, coordinate with the client, and participate in scheduling, templates, and supervision of colleagues and interns.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM workflows and coordinating with clients is a plus.
• Ability to manage a BIM modeler and coordinate across teams.

Set up and manage BIM models for new construction and large-scale renovation projects.

About the feature

As a BIM engineer, you set up and manage BIM models. The projects you execute focus on new construction and large-scale renovations.

On the largest projects, work is often done in pairs. As a BIM engineer, you are paired with a BIM modeler, and together you are responsible for the entire process up to and including production in the factory. Ultimately, as a BIM engineer, you hold final responsibility and serve as the point of contact for the people in the factory. To ensure good coordination and collaboration with the factory, the engineering team works partly at the office in Staphorst and partly at the client's office.

• You will get to work on developing projects in Revit.
• You create and detail 3D drawings at various stages of a project.
• Within large projects, you work together with a BIM modeler whom you manage on a daily basis.
• You liaise regularly with your client for coordination and brainstorm with your colleagues from the construction department to make the right choices for the construction drawings.
• You combine engineering with work preparation by modeling in Revit 3D on the one hand, and discussing the assembly drawings with the client and ordering materials on the other.
• Together with the team, you are responsible for the entire Engineering department. This means that, in addition to your primary duties, you also take on team tasks such as creating schedules, identifying issues, maintaining templates, and supervising colleagues and/or interns.
