Job summary

Zypp, based in Rotterdam, seeks a BI professional to develop and maintain Power BI content, dashboards, and apps. You will collaborate on data modeling, visualization, and architecture to deliver secure, efficient analytics for clients.

You will automate processes via Power Platform, explore new technologies, and provide training to strengthen client capabilities in BI and analytics.

Qualifications

• You have excellent analytical skills, including modeling, data preparation, and visualization.
• You have excellent communication skills and can communicate data-driven insights in a strategic way.
• You have experience delivering BI/analytical projects or in a similar role.
• You are proficient in Power BI, including Power Query and DAX, and understand its architecture

As part of our team, you work together with colleagues from various fields to develop and maintain efficient and attractive reports, build apps, perform analyses, and maintain an optimal and secure BI architecture.

Developing and maintaining Power BI content, such as reports, dashboards, and apps. You work together with colleagues to create an optimal data model and use intuitive visuals to help users prioritize relevant information and optimize performance.

Setting up and maintaining an optimal BI architecture, such as managing workspaces, efficiently using data sources, and ensuring an optimal reporting process within organizations.

Using data security tools to ensure that each person has access to the right information based on their role.

Automating processes in the Microsoft Power Platform through apps and flows.

Exploring new technological possibilities and applying them to further improve our offerings.

Sharing your knowledge and expertise with clients by providing training. You strengthen existing competencies and help clients develop new skills in the aforementioned areas.

Who you are

You have a passion for converting data into valuable insights and share our core values.

You have relevant experience in the above-mentioned topics, or experience in similar domains and are willing to learn the mentioned topics.

You have excellent analytical skills, including modeling, data preparation, and visualization.

You have experience delivering BI/analytical projects or in a similar role.

You are proficient in Power BI, including Power Query and DAX.

You have knowledge of Power BI architecture, including workspaces, gateways, licenses, publishing, and embedded functionality.

You are skilled in SQL and comfortable with the concepts of data warehousing and data modeling.

You have knowledge of security tools in Power Query, Power BI, and Office 365.
