Job summary

Butternut Box seeks an experienced People Advisor to own Belgium payroll operations while potentially scaling to support the Netherlands. You will manage end-to-end payroll, contracts, and administration for Belgium and Netherlands teams and partner with outsourced providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will drive automation and data integrity within HiBob, support benefits administration, and act as the primary contact for Benelux staff on payroll and company policies.

Qualifications

• Proven Belgian employment law expertise and payroll management with outsourcing partners.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a strong plus.
• Proficient in HiBob and spreadsheet tools to validate payroll data.
• Detail-oriented with compliance focus and ability to set up automations.
• Willingness to adapt to Benelux/ NL payroll scope.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll administration for Belgium and Netherlands (≈75 employees).
• Draft and manage employment contracts, addenda, onboarding/offboarding docs.
• Serve as first-line contact for Benelux teams on payroll and policies.
• Coordinate benefits renewals and platforms; process enrollments and life events.
• Support automation projects to reduce manual data entry and improve data flows.
• Maintain data integrity in HiBob and ensure alignment with providers.
