Job summary

Clifford Chance LLP in Amsterdam is seeking an Information Manager to lead the Benelux information function and deliver legal research, current awareness and knowledge services across the region. You will guide Information Professionals, manage budgets and supplier relationships, and work with our AI and knowledge systems teams to evolve services.

You'll collaborate with partners, PSLs and business professionals, ensuring high-quality, compliant information resources and strategic guidance

Qualifications

Significant experience in information management or information services within a large international organization.
Experience leading information professionals, including line management and capability development.
Strong procurement, supplier and subscription management across multiple jurisdictions.
In-depth knowledge of legal information resources, licensing and data usage.
Hands-on experience with knowledge systems, current awareness tools, template automation or AI technologies.
Excellent Dutch and English communication, with stakeholder management at senior levels.
Analytical, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach; HBO/WO level education desired.

Responsibilities

Lead the Benelux information function across Amsterdam and Benelux offices.
Develop and manage Information Professionals, including hiring, appraisals and day-to-day support.
Build a collaborative, service-oriented culture with continuous improvement.
Oversee budgets, supplier relationships, subscriptions and cost controls.
Deliver research, current awareness and thought leadership to legal teams and clients.
Drive AI, knowledge systems adoption and ensure compliance with governance requirements.
