Job summary

A leading technology firm in Utrecht is seeking a Benelux Field Service Engineer to provide onsite services for Auto ID products. The role involves installation, maintenance, and customer support for stationary industrial scanners and cameras. The ideal candidate will have a technical bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of field service experience, ideally in automation. The position requires proficiency in reading schematics, a willingness to travel frequently within the Netherlands, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Preferred 2-3 years of prior experience in field service activities.
• Travel willingness for 80% of the time inside Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Datalogic equipment at customer sites.
• Maintain and replace onsite Datalogic devices.
• Issue service reports and document expenses.
• Build respectful relationships with customers.

Skills

Electrical & mechanical schematics reading

Troubleshooting and diagnostic experience

Good understanding of computer networks

Good understanding of network protocols

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor degree in a technical field such as electronics
