Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a senior Procurement Manager to lead the BeNe procurement team (Netherlands and Belgium). Base in Zaltbommel with frequent travel to BeNe locations; role combines strategy, leadership and execution to deliver supplier strategies and cost savings.

You will manage 3 procurement specialists, shape supplier landscape, and ensure alignment with global VP of Procurement. Fluency in Dutch and English required; 32–40 hours per week; permanent, full-time.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of relevant work experience in procurement / purchasing.
• Experience in a strategic role with extensive stakeholder management.
• Experience in managing, coaching, or developing a team.
• Ability to operate at different levels, from operational to global.
• Strong communication skills with a diplomatic and professional approach.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Availability for 32 to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Driving cost savings, supplier performance, and professionalisation of Procurement in the BeNe-cluster.
• Initiating and managing tenders, negotiations, and procurement projects.
• Developing and implementing category and supplier strategies.
• Monitoring compliance with procurement policies, contractual agreements, and terms.
• Identifying risks within the supplier base and acting where necessary.
• Guiding the team through change and connecting employees to the department’s direction.
