Bunk Amsterdam is seeking a bartender to join our vibrant team at the Sint Ritakerk location. You’ll craft drinks quickly, remember our cocktail recipes, and provide excellent recommendations as the restaurant fills from breakfast to late night.

Qualifications

Experience as bartender at a busy venue is preferred.

Bartender at Bunk Amsterdam

At Bunk, our restaurant is full every day, from morning to late, kicking off with hotel guests over breakfast and finishing off with locals enjoying our cultural programming. Inspired by the monumental church which we call home, our menu features local, seasonal ingredients prepared traditionally: smoked, cured, pickled, marinated and stewed. Fresh produce is at the heart of each dish, which we cook straight from our heart, too. Our guests enjoy their food seated at our long tables perfect for connecting with friends, both old and new.

About You

A bartender can be the best friend you need and you? You’re a friend indeed. Aside from the fact that you can whip a drink together better and faster than anyone you know, you simply can’t get enough of others and you regularly make quick friends with whoever’s at the bar. You’ve got a good memory, so you can easily remember all of our cocktail recipes and wines, and give the best recommendations based on a quick chat. Chaos is not the norm, but you don’t mind a bit of it – you’re at your best when the restaurant is full and loads of drinks are being ordered. You’re a master at multitasking – you have no problem getting things done, and quickly. Mistakes happen, and you might break a glass or two, but you’re always ready to clean up a mess and keep moving. Most importantly, you know how to leave an impression – and a good one, at that.
