Job summary

Wakuli is seeking a passionate Barista for our Den Bosch location opening in October. You will join a dynamic team to deliver approachable specialty coffee and serve customers with energy and care. This role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and building strong neighborhood connections.

You will develop expertise through Wakuli's Barista School, work with international partners, and have opportunities to grow into a full-time role or store leadership as the business expands.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in customer service, restaurant or retail position.
• Fluency in English and preferably Dutch.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn quickly about specialty coffee.
• Minimum 16 hours a week with at least one weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Craft the best specialty coffees and other drinks for Wakuli customers.
• Advise customers on beans and pods to elevate home coffee quality.
• Maintain and operate coffee equipment.
• Ensure high hygiene standards and waste management.
• Open and close the bar independently when needed.
• Share knowledge with new colleagues as required.
• Follow all product, service and brand training playbooks.
• Contribute to a welcoming, neighborhood-feel store environment.
