Job summary

Durabel Recruitment B.V. is seeking a pastry chef for a bakery in Sevenum. You will join a team of about 10 bakers to prepare rice pies with whipped cream and other pastries, following hygienic routines and schedules.

Shifts are day-time 8:00–16:00, with every 4 weeks one Saturday and two Sundays; you earn 17–22 EUR gross per hour, with weekend bonuses and travel allowance. Benefits include 27 vacation days and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• HACCP knowledge or food safety awareness is a plus.
• Proficiency in Dutch, English or German.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic working environment.
• Strong team player with collegial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Clock in and wash hands before starting work.
• Work with a team of about 10 bakers.
• Prepare rice pies with whipped cream and other pastries.
• Set up ingredients and decorations for timely production.
• Clean machines and sweep floors after shifts.
• Maintain hygiene and follow safety standards.

Are you the new pastry chef we are looking for a company that makes the tastiest flans in Sevenum?

• Day shifts from 8 am to 4 pm, with 1 Saturday and 2 Sundays every 4 weeks;
• Weekend bonus of 134% on Saturdays and 200% on Sundays;

What will you do?

• After putting on your bakery clothes, have a cup of coffee in the canteen;
• Of course, when it's time to clock in, you don't just walk into the bakery. First wash your hands and clean your shoes. Very hygienic;
• Together with about 10 other bakers you form a team;
• You look at the schedule and see that you will be making rice pies with whipped cream, among other things. You collect the whipped cream and chocolate so you can start on time;
• Once started, you get to spray the whipped cream, fun!
• So, the rice pies are ready. Machines are cleaned and the floor is swept. You are not allowed to eat from the floor, but on your line you might;
• On to the next type of pastry!

Who are you?

• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety is a plus;
• Command of the Dutch, English or German language;
• Love a dynamic working environment;
• You are strong team player and collegial.
