Vesper is a B2B SaaS platform based in Amsterdam seeking a Software Developer to enhance data integration, QA, and performance optimization. You will join an international team and have the autonomy to grow while contributing to a high-growth product.

You will work with PHP (Laravel), MySQL, Git, and CI/CD, designing and shipping robust backend features, ensuring data quality, and improving system performance. The Amsterdam canal-view office awaits with a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-4 years of backend development experience.
• Solid knowledge of PHP (Laravel), MySQL, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Analytical mindset to diagnose and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Data Integration: Design, develop, and implement data ingestion processes from APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Data Quality Assurance: Implement data validation and cleansing to ensure accuracy of integrated data.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize data processing workflows and DB queries for efficiency.
• Deploy and run your own code in production environments.
• Identify technical challenges and take ownership to create solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
• Proactively look for improvements to applications and the development process.
