Responsibilities

Vinted operates a second-hand marketplace connecting millions of members across Europe. Its business units also provide shipping services through Vinted Go and secure payment services through Vinted Pay.

Explore, adopt and enable AI-assisted approaches to improve delivery efficiency and quality across the software development life cycle; Design, build and own tools, services and frameworks for fast and reliable development, delivery and quality using technologies such as Go, Ruby and Kubernetes; Build tooling and introduce processes for complex problems, including growing pull request review load and AI-assisted PR-merge pipelines; Improve environments and pipelines so agents and engineers can validate changes in seconds; Make Vinted's codebase work well with coding agents through context, conventions and scaffolding; Own solutions end-to-end, from idea and research to wide adoption; Drive adoption of best practices across teams.

Требования

Substantial experience designing, building and operating backend systems, platforms or developer tools used at scale; Extensive use of AI to improve engineering work and ability to help other engineers do the same; Proven experience designing and shipping tools, platforms or services that other engineers depend on; Ability to write clean, maintainable and testable code; Understanding of context, conventions, guardrails and evaluation for safe, high-quality AI-generated code; Understanding of the practical limits and risks of LLM-based tools; Strong thought leadership and ability to influence technical direction, mentor others and drive adoption of best practices across teams; Passion for engineering experience and developer productivity; Excellent written and spoken English; Nice to have: hands-on experience with Go, Kubernetes, developer tooling and CI/CD systems, experience working in platform-like teams.
