Job summary

Salto CloudWorks develops and operates the software behind Salto Systems’ electronic access control technology, powering cloud-managed buildings globally.

You’ll join the Larry team, building and running three web applications used across installers, support teams and partners, expanding them beyond the original scope to support all Salto products.

Qualifications

• Experience building RESTful APIs from scratch.
• Strong C#/.NET skills and backend design.
• Familiarity with SQL databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
• Kubernetes and Azure hosting experience is a strong advantage.

Job description

At Salto CloudWorks, we develop and operate the software behind Salto Systems’ electronic access control technology. Our solutions power connected, cloud-managed buildings used by businesses all around the world.

You’ll join the ‘Larry team’, which builds and runs a tool that genuinely makes a difference in day-to-day work for installers, support teams, and technical partners.

You’ll be working on a set of three web applications used globally across these groups. Right now, the team is expanding them beyond their original scope so they can support all Salto products. You’ll be involved in that transition from the start.

You will deliver new features, contribute to code reviews, help reduce technical debt and play an active role in making Larry a true cross-ecosystem product.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in C# (.NET 8+, ASP.NET Core)
• Enjoys and has experience building RESTful APIs, preferably having built APIs from scratch
• Has experience with Agile/Scrum
• Has experience with CI/CD tools to get projects to production
• Has experience applying good coding principles, testing and backend system architecture design
• Has experience with SQL databases; familiarity with MySQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL is a plus
• Experience with Kubernetes and MS Azure hosting is a strong advantage
