Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment is assisting a client in critical IT/Managed Services to hire an Azure-focused DevOps engineer. You join a team owning a single customer environment, building containers, web apps and scalable databases with failover. You design CI/CD, observability, and automation with Terraform, Python, and shell.

The role emphasizes design of cost-aware infrastructure, monitoring, on-call readiness, and Dutch language fluency with proximity to Eindhoven.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud or DevOps engineering with Azure as your main platform.
• You build cloud native application platforms: containers, web apps, databases with replicas and failover, API gateway, DNS, load balancing.
• Terraform as your default for infrastructure as code.
• CI/CD pipelines you designed yourself in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Scripting or development in Python or Go, and you can read a .NET or Java codebase.
• Monitoring, observability and on-call experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the Azure-based platform for a customer environment with CI/CD and zero-downtime deployments.
• Design and implement pipelines, tests, and monitoring with Terraform, Python, and shell.
• Interface with in-house building blocks and private registries for secure automation.
