Job summary

Ir Olav's Globetrotters B.V. seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and evolve cloud-native platforms on Azure, including AKS, Terraform, and IaC. You will implement standardised CI/CD pipelines, observability, and strong security controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will work in a center where AI plays a growing role in software delivery, contributing to digital sovereignty and a robust development pipeline across banking-like environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience with the Azure platform and complex infrastructures, including IaC (Bicep, ARM, Terraform).
• Experience with containerisation using Docker and running Kubernetes in production.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Experience setting up observability stacks.
• Scripting experience (PowerShell and Bash).
• Familiarity with cloud-native tech and CNCF landscape.
• Strong focus on security: zero-trust and least-privilege.
• Proficiency with C#/.NET and front-end frameworks such as React/Next.js.
• Interest in AI and its role in modern software delivery.
• Customer-focused mindset and pragmatic, big-picture thinking.
• Strong communication skills to persuade and implement solutions.
• Certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-500, AZ-700 and/or CKA/CKAD/CKS are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, cloud-native infrastructure on Azure using IaC (Bicep/ Terraform).
• Run and manage workloads in AKS and containerised apps with Docker.
• Build and evolve standardised CI/CD pipelines and self-service capabilities.
• Set up observability with logs, metrics, tracing and monitoring for reliability.
• Apply security controls across multiple layers and maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable platforms.
