Job summary

Macaw Deutschland is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will design and improve Azure cloud platforms while supporting client stability and security. Your responsibilities include setting up IaaS and PaaS environments, advising clients, and acting as a trusted lead within the team.

Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years of experience, knowledge of Azure tools, and strong Dutch language skills. Macaw offers a collaborative and informal work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in customer-facing or managed services environments.
• Experience working with ITIL-based processes and service-oriented delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, PowerShell, Bicep and/or Terraform, CI/CD, containers, networking, security, IAM, and Microsoft cloud governance frameworks such as CAF and WAF.
• Familiarity with AI-related capabilities is a plus.
• Confident working directly with customers and advising them.
• A strong command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Help set up, monitor, manage, and support Microsoft Azure-based IaaS and PaaS environments.
• Act as a technical lead and sparring partner for the Service Delivery Manager.
• Lead assessments and advise clients on technical challenges.
