Job summary

Oliver James Associates Ltd. is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and manage an Azure-based cloud platform that supports enterprise applications for a major energy infrastructure client in the Netherlands.

You will collaborate with DevOps, software developers, security engineers, and platform teams to deliver a secure, scalable, and highly available environment using IaC, AKS, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. This role emphasizes automation and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating Azure cloud platforms for enterprise applications.
• Proficiency with AKS, Terraform, and IaC methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Automate deployments using infrastructure as code.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for apps and infra.
• Manage Kubernetes environments (AKS) and container platforms.
• Implement cloud security best practices and identity management.
• Monitor environments, improve reliability and performance.
• Optimize cloud costs through governance and resource management.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and development teams.
• Enhance observability with centralized monitoring and logging.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and drive automation improvements.
