Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to secure a live Azure platform end-to-end, from identity governance with Entra ID to egress controls. You will implement policy-as-code, guardrails in Terraform and Azure DevOps, and work within regulated environments (DORA, NIS, ISO).

This hands-on role requires 6+ years in Azure infrastructure with a security focus, deep Entra ID expertise, Defender for Cloud and Sentinel mastery, and scripting with PowerShell.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Azure infrastructure or cloud engineering with security focus
• Entra ID capabilities: CA, PIM, RBAC, identity governance
• Sentinel and Defender for Cloud; own KQL
• Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines; PowerShell; Ansible preferred
• Supply chain security and vulnerability management
• Comfort with regulated environments (DORA, NIS, ISO)
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus

Responsibilities

• Secure live Azure platform from identity to egress rules.
• Implement Entra ID controls: CA, PIM, RBAC, identity governance.
• Write guardrails via Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Tune Defender for Cloud and Sentinel with custom KQL.
• Address supply chain security and vulnerability management.
