We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer (Azure) to strengthen the security posture of our cloud platforms and support secure development practices across multidisciplinary DevOps teams. The ideal candidate has deep hands‑on experience with Azure security, cloud-native monitoring tools, IaC automation, and enterprise-grade security controls.
This role is critical in ensuring our applications, data, infrastructure, and networks remain secure, compliant, and resilient.
Maintain and continuously improve the security posture of Azure environments, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities using industry-standard security tools.
Provide cybersecurity expertise in the analysis, assessment, development, and evaluation of secure architectures for applications, operating systems, databases, and networks.
Implement and configure security controls, policies, and access management to protect apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks.
Deploy and manage threat protection, respond to security incidents, and support escalations.
Automate security controls, processes, and metrics using security-as-code principles.
Configure access and network security using defense-in-depth and hybrid network controls.
Ensure data protection across cloud workloads.
Manage cloud operations using Azure-native tools such as Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center.
Support cloud engineers in implementing security best practices and secure CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Deliver and update documentation on the CCoE wiki.
Work within a multidisciplinary DevOps team, contributing to both development and operational activities.

6–8 years of professional experience, including 3+ years building and maintaining secure cloud solutions.
Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps security concepts (trust but verify, decentralized controls, NFR adherence).
Proven hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services.
Deep knowledge of networking: IP subnetting, NSGs, routing, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, load balancers, DNS.
Strong experience configuring security policies, securing applications, and protecting data.
Familiarity with Azure capabilities: Azure AD, PIM, VMs, Container Registry, AKS, Data Services, KeyVault.
Experience with Azure-native monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Security Center.
Strong scripting and automation skills; experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and security controls (Azure DevOps preferred; Jenkins, Bamboo, Buildkite also acceptable).
Experience with Terraform or other cloud-specific automation tools.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or Business Management.
