Job summary

WKL Consultancy in Utrecht, Netherlands is seeking a Cloud Application Specialist to own and evolve our cloud hosting environments. You will build, manage, and deploy Azure-based infrastructures that power our SaaS platforms, with a focus on security, reliability, and scalability.

You will work with Azure AD/Entra ID, AVD, PowerShell, and IaC (Bicep), collaborating with a cross-functional team to automate deployments, strengthen security, and support the ongoing transition to Azure while

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of relevant working experience in a professional cloud, infrastructure, or IT environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), including Entra Connect Sync.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), preferably with MSIX app attach.
• Experience with PowerShell and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with automation and security tools such as Microsoft Defender, Ivanti Automation Manager, Ivanti Security Controls, or Tenable.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Bicep.
• Comfortable with new technologies and integrations, strong ownership.
• AZ-900 or AZ-104 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and deploy cloud hosting environments powering SaaS solutions.
• Automate deployments and strengthen security across Azure and private clouds.
• Collaborate with a Cloud Platform Team to transition to Azure and evolve the platform.
• Support business-critical applications and maintain existing infrastructure.
